Web accessibility

I have developed a good understanding of the key considerations that make up the complex area of web accessibility and I have found that it is best to spend time early on in the project planning phase agreeing a clearly defined approach to accessibilty.

The following list details specific accessibility related responsibilities that I have undertaken:

• Production of a company accessibility checklist for current and future projects
• Overseeing the accessibility standards of a 3rd party search solution
• Application of accessibility guidelines to UX specification documentation
• Collaborating with tech and business team members to agree common sense accessibility principles for a given project
